  • The theme of the upcoming lanterns is 2025 Year of the Snake: Fluidity in Diversity. We hope through art and storytelling that we can inspire everybody to look beyond first impressions and find a balance in embracing diversity. What does the snake and its fluidity mean to you? Share your story through The Lantern City.

  • Selected artworks will be blown up and printed upon fabric. Recommended resolution is 300dpi.
We recommend choosing artworks with a lighter colour scheme for better lantern presentation.
When choosing your submission, please keep in mind the 360 degree presentation of the lanterns.
The lanterns are large cylindrical shapes, so feel free to play with the meeting of the “right” and “left” edges of your artwork.
