In 2024, TAIWANfest included its first-ever artist market. We invited local artists as well as two artists from Japan to sell their works, and also share their stories with the people of Vancouver. 

2025 TAIWANfest hopes to expand the artist market. Our theme is a Dialogue with Portugal, where we will explore how the ocean connects different cultures, from the Portuguese to the Japanese to the Taiwanese, and more. We are excited to welcome Japanese crafts artists to share their works with a new audience, and highlight how Japanese and Taiwanese influence each other in the world of arts and crafts today.

We are now accepting applications from Asia artists. 
We will be selecting a maximum of 10 artists from Asia to join our artist market.

2024年、TAIWANfestは初のアーティストマーケットを開催しました。地元のアーティスト２０数組と日本からも2組のアーティストを招き、作品を販売を通して、バンクーバーの人々に彼らのストーリーを伝えました。

2025年、TAIWANfestはアーティストマーケットを拡大したいと考えています。

毎年、世界の国々から1カ国ピックアップして特集しているのですが、2025年はポルトガルです。、ポルトガル人から日本人、台湾人など、異なる文化を海がどのようにつないでいるかを探ります。日本の工芸作家を迎え、彼らの作品を初めて知るカスタマーと共有し、今日の美術工芸の世界で日本と台湾、そしてカナダ、ポルトガルがどのように影響し合っているかに焦点を当てたいと思います。
